Upon The Restless Stars Beyond Above Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Upon The Restless Stars Beyond Above

Touring the stars
Within this heart's energy
Seeking feelings beyond doubt
Opening up beyond the sky's limitations
Dreams of seizing more than I could ever seize

Digging deeper, Losing myself
Finding my own alien retreat
Wondering on like a dying sun
Wanting more light to be drawn within me

Lonely eyes they trail this soul
Beaming away, Out of control
Forging ahead as far as I can go
Trying to reach towards the next unknown

When the stars shine the brightest
I never want to see them alone
Who will come with me?
Towards the next plateau

Onward and up
Higher than you will ever know
Higher and higher
This heart continues to grow

I want to lift off into space
And catch you some stars
So we can create our own galaxy
Full of planets, systems, many suns
And even then we would of have just begun

Let us tour the stars
Tired of dreaming alone
For whom am I referring to?
Is it too late for you to already know?

We have always shared our love of space
Now do you truly know?

Is it too late to find our true home
upon the restless stars beyond above?

If there so happens to be a connection to all of this,
Stars beyond above, please let me know

Guide me; us, we are Aliens, after all
