Urge To Smoke Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

Urge To Smoke

Said the man he would walk twenty miles
for a camel but two giant piles
hung and dragged through the dust
so he knew that he must
stay at home in the British Isles.

But the smokefree times drove him bananas
and in corpore sano mens sanas
was the old Latin quote
that his grandfather wrote,
and had printed on all his bandannas.
