Values! Poem by Denis Martindale

Vanity can lead you astray, like sudden mists at dawn,
And sorrows can lead you away, such that you moan and mourn.
Love is the key, faith helps you pray, despite the devil's scorn,
Use wisdom so that you obey, God's rose without a thorn.
Esteem God's values every day, choose not to feel forlorn,
Strive for God's favour, come what may, so blessings can get born!
