Vasant Mahotshav, The Great Festival Of Spring Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Vasant Mahotshav, The Great Festival Of Spring

Vasant Mahotshav,
The Great Festival of Spring,
Nature has changed awfully
With the flutter and fall of dry leaves
And the new buds sprouting,
The blossoms are booming,
The wind keeps blowing
Carrying the sweet scent
And the fallen leaves swirling
At midday getting somewhat hotter
And marking the change in time and atmosphere,
The forest flame and fire,
The village folks too start singing the songs of Falgun
Around some temple courtyard
Beating the drums and cymbals,
If the winds can go frolicking and playing about,
Why will man lag behind?
