Venusian Shores

Alone we are but shadows,
shimmering on an endless trail,
Together we are the sea where
footprints of time dare not assail.
On an even of auburn sky
where harmony of waves prevail,
I vow,
However rough be the terrain
and however harsh the gale
Forever through this realm, my love,
Against all odds, brave; we shall sail.
