Veranda Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Veranda

I played on countless days,
On my veranda grand.
Bathed in numerous sun's rays,
I up and down it ran.

On many days,
I'd invite friends,
For some frolicksome fun.
We all played and played, till the day was done.

They loved my huge veranda.
They on it played and played and played,
Even to this day.
