Vintergæk

Vintergæk, Vintergæk,
hvad vil du her?
Varsler du Vaaren ind
midt i den barske Vind?
Vintergæk, Vintergæk,
se dog det sner!

Vintergæk, Vintergæk,
kæk er din Hu,
gennem det visne Blad
spirer du frisk og glad,
Vintergæk, Vintergæk,
var jeg som du!

Vintergæk, Vintergæk,
god er din Trøst,
under den mørke Sky
spirer et Haab paany,
spirer en Vintergæk
dybt i mit Bryst.
