THE ASSAULT

After the week end
the situation worsened
terrible pain in the abdomen
still remained,
something is pricking the uterus
impossible to bear,
unstopped bleeding continous
physical weakness appear
got bedridden, she cried and cried.
The inlaws were informed
the celebration stopped
the mother was upset,
pained and distressed
in agony of the dear one
called a local physician
who failed to diagnose,
condition very serious
advised to take her to hospital
also to consult the gynaeic.
The inlaws and village people
helped to take to maternity hall.
The young husband
nervous at unexpected incident
spoke to the gynaeic.
From the symptoms and details
understood and conclude
for an immediate surgery
at the uterus as necessary
for her life to be saved
the doctor did again.
The stitches cut open
to take out the scissors
that pricked the uterus
and cut it into pieces
blood clots and the pus
cleaned, applied medicines
and stitched as before.
Under anaesthesia,
she lay unconscious
out of the operation theatre
with saline and oxygen
To hasten to recover.
The doctor wanted
to hide the scissors affair.


ANIHILATION

The surgery was a show off
The internal bleeding
it could not stop
neither that was the intention
save her life should flop
that was the decision
thus hiding his fault
a defensive assault
had to be stalled
as the doctor appalled
for his own mistake
of the public rage
police enquiry, tutelage
from justice or barrage
on profession's ethical hedge
So she was condmned
to death sentence.
So many cuts and bruises
incessant bleeding the cause
for her death at next sunrise.
