Virtual Desire Poem by Jess White

Virtual Desire

Rating: 4.2

I lie in a new bed awake
In the realisation that I have remained faithful to only one other
For a quarter of my life.
But tonight I crave this new bodily warmth and
New tender touch
As these new hands glide over my body filling my heart with desire.
Though, while
I Should remain faithful to my one other
He Does remain faithful to a virtual lover
Whose beauty is not like mine
That is expressed through the sound of my beating heart
But through words
That spill out onto the screen and into his mind.
I undeservedly crave the occupation of his thoughts
With me
Yet he solely craves the words
Of Tiffany.

Nice poem. I think the internet can be a dangerous thing for a marriage...or any relationship. Good one. sincerely, Mary
