Virus. Poem by KayLuh LaMonte Davis

Virus.

Rating: 0.5

Your Like A Virus, That I Put In My Veins.
Like A Child That Loves Candy Canes.
Its Such A Wonder, What I Ever Saw In You.
Haha, I Guess I Already Paid My Dues.

I Loved You Cuz You Were Sweet,
On The First Day That We Meet.
I Loved You For Your Humor,
After What You Put Me Through
Your Just Like A Tumor.
I Loved You For Your Eyes,
Thats More Gorgeous Than Any Guy.
I Loved You For Your Hair,
Always Messy, Without A Care.
Underneath It All, Your Just Like Them.

I Loved You Cuz You Were Different.

Now now, KayLuh, with that Idea, if you nixed the rhyme scheme to display what was completely in your heart, it would be much better. Come on, you dont need lines like Like a child who loves candy canes. you could be a lot more serious about the whole matter, that is an aweful way to describe love. A child just wants the sugar of a candy cane and doesn't want to pay for it. A candy cane is a highly ephemeral analogy, and if you studied a virus and actually created semi-intellegent analogies, this poem could be very nice. I suppose for effort I will give you an 8.
