Visions Poem by Chloe Mishler

Visions

Rating: 5.0

A vision of hope,
painted among the clouds.
White stirring shapes,
they appear different,
to those who choose to look.
A vision of danger,
dances inside the flickering flames of fire,
attempting to warn those outside the ring.
A vision of happiness,
lies within each photograph,
carefully frozen in time.
A vision of sadness,
etched into hard stone,
records one life,
lived and then lost.
A vision of faith,
resides within a cross,
offering peace and comfort.
A vision of uncertainty,
churns among the waters,
surprising every thing,
within the water.
All visons seen,
not with the eyes,
but with the mind.
Who knows when and where,
the next,
will appear.
