Vividly Gone Poem by Kathryn Garner

Vividly Gone

Rating: 1.0

the failure theyd never be
but she failed with vivid colors
of the visions flashing through her iris
from every dreams kiss
with the lips that never quite met
and a future never quite set
what a close failure she became
and what a shame
the vivid colors fade the same
way, from dusk, or from dust
dreams lived till death
or dead wiht premature death
almost there
almost ran all the way to the horizon
almost found her way
to the illusions that never stay
in a reachable grasp
all the love that wont ever last
shes still closer to paging through the past
than the gain
the vivid colors she lived to chase
and the furture she gave to a sunsets waste

faded with the vivsions that turned so wrong
shes not vividly gone
