Vlad The Bad Poem by Practicing Poetess

Vlad The Bad

Rating: 5.0

Vlad the Bad
Was the first man she ever had
She tried to tame him,
But he was a real cad.
The more she tried to change him,
He'd just get raving mad.
And so, she had to let him go,
It ended really sad.
A few months later, what a shock!
The poor girl cried, Egad!
She'd thought that it was over, but
That scoundrel was a Dad!
She had a bouncing baby boy,
And he was a fine lad
Which goes to prove, that sometimes
Good things can come from bad.

Lamar, thank you so much for reading. I swear, I think I have been reading too many of your poems over time! This sounds strangely similar to a Lamar poem! I suppose all us poets can learn from each other!

Thank you, Edward Kofi Louis. I guess that ol' Vladimir just wasn't tameable! : -)

Thanks so much, Kostas! I read so much of Lamar Cole's poetry, that I think his influence must have rubbed off on me. This strongly resembles something he would write! By the way, Vladimir is a purely imaginary character.
