Volcanoes Poem by Nicole GravellPellerino

Volcanoes

Hot, thick, molten, red magma
slowly rises to the surface
constantly building pressure
as it climbs

Mountain like mounds
quickly grow in height
reaching colossal size
with incresingly pressurized magma chambers

Ashes, toxic gases, and lava
eruptic in a violent manner
spewing noxious chemicals
into the air

Searing Lava flows
freely down the mountain like mouns
destroying any life form
in its deadly path
