Voodoo Hex Poem by Nika McGuin

Voodoo Hex

They say,
It ain't gon' let you go.
They say that
mine will haunt your soul
like an old voodoo hex.
Say, you'll never forget
how you did me wrong.

But I will,
and I hope you
escape.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It may not sound like it in the tone of this poem, but it is about forgiveness. When we hurt others we tend to carry that guilt around. It is my wish that those who have wronged me find peace. Inspired by Sade - Moon and the Sky
