Vorlain Poem by niall gormley

Vorlain

Seven wishes for your morning.
Seven spring to feed your well.
Seven echoes of you calling me;
I just can't tell.
Where all the hills roll into the sea.
And all the waves turn away.
Are all the homes built that I can see
Round Staffin Bay.
Its not a time for hesitation.
its just a time to stop and stare.
Vorlain you were waiting.
I never thought you'd wait right here.

For a thousand years in the long soil
With a thousand stars your flagged sky.
And a thousand dreams of going home
In the by-and-by.
It seems the secret to the human heart
Is to flame and ever burn.
So like a child in the loving dark
I can but learn.
For its a sign of relevation
In a time of mystery,
Vorlain you were waiting.
I never thought you'd wait for me.
