Waining Wings Poem by Barbara Vanier

Waining Wings

clearly no longer I can see
what life had in store for me
lost are dreams never to reveal
that life might had upon that hill

eyes that dim is the life for me
never seeing true reality
in this emptiness I scream
but no one hears the demon seed

surronded by sounds I see
something touched my soul so deep
I taste the color of such a sound
I feel my spirit leave the ground

lifting higher than moutains high
I almost seem to touch the sky
then my wings they fail me now
Iccarus brother wont you save me now

there is nothing left for you to see
no sound to utters from reality
all is black no caress I feel
thats how I know I am not real
