Wait Poem by Aron Lelei

Wait

Wow! Must you sit and glance to naught?
Why wait for me yet am invisible?
Can't you spot the glare on my face without sunlight?
Must you just stare at the empty shell on my desk?
Truly, why wait when am not in sanity but away?
Can't you let me enjoy my freedom just this once?
Please, let me use my senses and keep still.
When am not available, just leave and let my space in you,
The same longing you've had in waiting fade.
Let me leave in peace and wait no more.
Waiting may mean anything but am not available now.
Wait, why wait further?
