Waiting... Poem by Rylan Ollivier

Waiting...

Rating: 4.5

The snowman is silent, without a whisper
The smile on his face o' so sinister
His legs dangle so careless and free
A branch in the wind, a fish in the sea
His mouth lay mute, silent with time
static with age, a shell of a mime
His eyes are dots, showing no fear
Heavily struck by the weight of his tears
The end is near he will finally say
Just one more week, just one more day

'a fish in the sea' is kind of cliche. But I don't know what else would go and rhyme so *shrug* Other than that I liked it. Some nice descriptions and such. Very nice.
