Waiting For You Poem by Rebecca Bouchard

Waiting For You

Open your eyes
and see me.
Search for my glances
And steal some
In return.

Extend your arm
and reach for me.
Pull me in
Determinedly
with no struggle
Nor concern.

Perk your ears
and hear me.
Find the secrets
that hide behind
My words.

And if you think
I would resist,
Then you still have much
To learn.

'And if you think I would resist, Then you still have much To learn.' Some men take a life time to learn! You have expressed yourself well in this poem. If you have time, please read some of mine too and offer A WORD OR TWO. This being your first poem posted to PH, I cordially welcome you to this forum and look forward to reading many more poems of yours.
