Waiting Forever Poem by Prashhant Misra

Waiting Forever

Though some say, its just a new beginning,
Some put it more precisely,
It's a new dawn, it's again raining,

They say when the sun gets hot,
When the tide is high and waves go wild,
When the sand is hot, and the eyes go blind,
The beach gets smaller, the clock never unwinds

They tell you m a gone man,
they tell you never to wait,
they tell you somethings never mend,
they tell you, its better you hate

I know, the letters didn't came,
I know, the seasons came and went
I know, they will drink a glass
WThell, they ain't no clairvoyant

Wait for me, when morning comes,
Let them crib, it's always late
Wait and see, m never the same
Wait for me, and i'll be the one

Don't you say goodbye,
Not yet, not now
I'll be there for you
Always was, always will be
