Waiting To Bloom Poem by nick feiner

Waiting To Bloom

You're beautiful but you're a bud waiting to bloom,
And we're all sitting and waiting and wondering, will it be soon?
So we give you room, backing up a few paces to let you shine brighter,
Hoping to false gods that you'll be a fighter, that has nothing but desire.
I can hear it now, the news coming straight from the town cryer, that inside of you the fire has broken free, and you have sprouted like an oak tree, strong and bold, able to withstand any cold. Experiencing life like the greatest tale never to be told.
