Please wake up, please.
Even for just a minute in time.
To see my growth, my progress
or even my failures learned
But you just sleep away your days.
Life can be cruel like that.

But the sun rises each day whether
hidden by the clouds or not.
So my hope should remain as part
of my daily armour of protective
attire.

I will keep visiting you,
believing in you and waiting
on you to wake up because
I love you.
