Walk In Her Shoes Poem by Jessica Spraggins

Walk In Her Shoes

The way you look at her
and tell her what you see
The way you talk to her
And tell her the things you once told me
The way you share your dreams with her
and whisper in her ear
The way you hold her in your arms
and shield her of her fears
They way you and her dance
To the invisible wind
I'll give everything and more
To walk in her shoes again.
When you kiss her
It reminds me of how we use to be
When you hold her
I imagine how you once held me
I wish we could switch places
So i could feel your warmth again
When i see you with her
it reminds me of us-
way back then
I know i hurted you
and without you my heart is blue
When I see you with her
I wish I could walk in her shoes.
