Walk with me to the waters

Walk with me to the waters
Where we shall rinse this written slate
Toss these bags into the river
And begin a new found fate
Old stories we've created
To ease our hearts from pain
No longer shall we tell them
Nothing from them can we gain
Our search for understanding
We shall call off from today
Absolved of burden we shall be
And together find our way
Walk again with me my love
For so much time has passed
Walk with me to the waters
For I have no stones to cast

Poem of the Day

poet William Shakespeare

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
