Walking In The Clouds Of Time Poem by A A Umar Udubo

Walking In The Clouds Of Time

Rating: 5.0

The hour has come
and the ocean is calm
forever

the beautiful sight that gleams
always appears in our dreams
so disturbingly real
Oh God I wish we deal
in them, forever

the nightmares we have
elude us to behave
like we've gone
mad. Damn it, I wish they're gone
forever

the fresh air we breathe in
with kith and kin
ties us, forever

looking at the bright star
falling afar
the day we die we look into skies
and they shut our eyes
forever

the immortal persons we left behind
echoes in the living the traces of our voices
and of the dead afore us and their noises
the orbit of life and death we're not blind
about, it goes like sun, forever
