Walls That Crack And Make You. Poem by Tony Shannon

Walls That Crack And Make You.

That pressure is everywhere
It comes from this insanity
Profanity- Is Death on many levels.
It's up to you- clinging to a life that doesn't exist
Pressures gonna stop you, you'll never persist
Hey, thats what cracks a shell, don't worry though
You're not the only one that fell.

Everywhere around you, walls are closing in
Sliding bevels dishevels your hope, replaces
It with Truth.

One Level- All consuming, I never asked,
You're always assuming
One Level- Always consuming, The questions there-
You're not unaware, don't stay in your lair.

Because you opt for pain, He's gonna make you.

Thirty seconds was what it was
Eternity will never succumb to his song
It can lure- go to far- you'll be made pure.
And I fell into a void, it was pain made by sin.
Rid yourself of this- to gain eternal bliss
The Blacksmith forges you- expect to feel pain
As He hits you surely, keening your edge
Remember one thing- Life is your pledge
There is only One Level.
