WANTED WORDS

Wanted words of deepest Blue
That struggles to rise from that manic Pew
And darkest thoughts that so prevail
That mighty words can never tell
The darkest dark of inner mind
The dazzle Red that makes us blind
Now tortured soul is all we see
That struggles on to eternity
Why oh why can we not see?
What we should see so easily
But end has come and dark is wrought
And all we have is inner thought
And i am left with hollow Shell
Toward that Red, my inner Hell.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

My Father passed away recently and this Poem is my way of dealing with the issues of guilt feelings. What i should have said, should'nt have said and what i did and did not do.

poet Ambrose Bierce

Weather
by Ambrose Bierce

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,
And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be--
Dead and damned and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth,
