Wanting Mistakes To Change Poem by Jamie Crossley

Wanting Mistakes To Change

Who would have thought that a girl like you,
Would have ever have loved a fool like me,
Who would have thought that a fool like me,
Would have ever been with a girl like you.

Oh, what a fool I have been,
To love you and then throw you away,
To shatter you're heart into a million pieces,
That will take a million years to fix.

Although we are apart now,
I will still never stop loving you,
Because hearing your name,
Still brings a smile to my cold, lonly face.

If I was able to turn back time,
And change anything I wanted,
There would be only one thing,
That I would ever change.

The absence of you soul,
That has parted from mine,
This leaves me in tears,
And also in pain.

Although I can not change mistakes,
Or go back in time,
I will still always try my hardest,
To gain back you're heart.
