Warrior Poem by Sherry Trent

Warrior

He lived long ago
in a land no one knows.
He fought creatures
long, horrific, and pure evil.
The people were scared,
just waiting for a hero.
The He came along
young, handsome, and brave.
The people wondered
would the 'Boy' be good enough.
He tried to prove himself,
no one ever thought of him.
The a monstrous, green creature came along.
Large and pure evil,
it tore the city to shreds.
The people were frightened,
wondering who will save them.
The He showed up.
They wondered and wondered,
then they sent Him.
He hesitated then decided.
He suited up,
sword in one hand shield in the other.
Fought to the death is what he did.
Everyone was scared to death,
they wondered who would win.
A loud roar sounded
someone had won.
The people waited and waited,
for someone to come through the dust.
The He showed up
bloody and brave.
Everyone cheered,
He proved himself.
He's a hero
a warrior.
