Wash Away Poem by Kelly Trickett

Wash Away

Let your waterfall flood over me,
Let your warmth shine in my soul,
Let your body be close to mine,
Wash away, wash away.

Like a shimmering pool of time,
Let me be drenched in your love,
Like holy water in a golden dish,
Let my heart be cleansed,
Wash away, wash away

Let your spiritual storm of tears,
Wash away all my sadness,
Let your soft healing hands,
Wash away all my pain,
Let your tender loving eyes,
Wash away all my fears,
Wash away, wash away.

Let all the hurt and sorrow from my life be
Washed away,
Let my mind be freed from all that is wrong,
Wash away, wash away.
