She makes you believe
Persuading you to perceive
Telling you she is a friend
Better watch out girlfriend
For that malicious pretense
Might bury you at your expense
Laugh and joke and be funny
Inside she thinks you’re a dummy
You talk and yak and she twists
The more words the more idea exists
You confide and she pulls and yanks
The more secrets the more she cranks
You sob and cry or have a break down
She’d go home jolly shining her crown
The sweet smile is her cruel disguise
Of the malevolent game to your demise
Your slow destruction is her salvation
My tip to you is to stop look and listen

Well done, Kay... trust is the true meaning of friendship. Great poem! Brian
I have been trying to get those exact words through to someone lately and they just won't seem to listen. How true your words are!

Thank you Kay, and you are so right too. There are girls and women who will get close to you pretending to be your friend, when all they want is to destroy you for whatever reason. Maybe she is jealous because you have a boyfriend she wants, or a job position she feels you cheated her out of, or maybe she is jealous because you have lots of friends whereas she doesn't, and you make friends faster than she does. Maybe she is jealous because you have better clothes and wear them better than she does, or maybe she hates you because you are prettier than her. But whatever the reason is, Vixen is out there, so STOP, LOOK, AND LISTEN is very good advice Kay. Thank you for sharing. Barbara
