Watching God Poem by Mbusya Wa Mbusya

Watching God

The small boy sat on a rock,
it was that period of femine,
catechist had tought him,
so in hunger he prayed God,
"Give me Pizza,
Lord, please a pizza"
evening came and the boy was dying
"Lord, give me Pizza"
Then the night fell
pizza
pizza
pizza...
***
He finally died of hunger,
a requiem mass was solemnly organised
thanking the heavenly Father for resting him!
