Pearly blue water,
Crystal clear
And flowing,

Bluish early water drops,
Drops
Dripping like,
Like
Nectar, nectar
Give me,
Give me to drink,
Drink
And quench,
Quench my thirst,
Thirst
By giving,
Giving you life,
Life-saving water
To the thirsty soul, soul,
Water,
Water!

Into,
Into the palms enjoined,
Enjoined
As for to quench,
Quench thirst,
My thirst,
The thirst of the soul,
A soul so thirsty
And restless for water,

Life-giving water,

O, water,
Water, give you,

Just a draught,
A draught of water,
