Lying awake as the dark is fading
Thoughts spinning through the mind keep it racing
Feeling alone like someone lost at sea
Heavy thoughts crashing down on me
The pain inside my chest keeps on aching
Feels like the ground beneath me is shaking
Sometimes feel I've been forgotten
Toxic thoughts damage a soul and leave it rotten
The hardest thing for some to say
Please help me get through another day
I can see your heart wide open
Hear your words that are not spoken
When lost I know it's hard to believe
Let me lessen your burden and give you some relief
You're not alone; at times we all are broken
You're amazing to so many;let my words soak in
Hear the whisper of my voice at night
Let it calm your fears and lessen your fright
I don't ever want to let you down
In your sorrow; I won't let you drown
Hold tight to me; I'll be your lifeline
Our hearts forever are entwined
I can hear the beating of your heart
The strength of our bond will never depart
I still feel the electricity with your touch
Have faith and know you are loved so much
