At times...I am amazed
At times I take things inappreciably.
At times I wish I could just separate myself from these pods.
These outer skins that wrinkle and lose value with time.
Like an automobile u can’t run forever.
Life has its way to catch up.
I wish I could be alone…
Just once to be on a mountain alone and ponder.
On why I am the way I am.
Alone to rust and wrinkle
No time for involuntary emotions just to be guided on what is coming.
To finally collapse and evade the harsh times of one’s unpredictable circumstances… to just fade.
