We Are Exile Poem by Rahman Henry

We Are Exile

Rating: 5.0

Ages after ages
There are some treaties
Unwritten, villages speak ill of cities
And cities speak ill of villages

Deaf and dumb we are
The poets and writers
We've no status, no profile
In our own lands, we are exile!
