Late in the night
Unknown number wakes me up
Late in the night
Text message with my name
Asking if that is me
He introduces himself
Says we met a while ago
I can't remember his face
He gave me a one-minute-ride home
From my friend in a heavy rainy day
He calls me a simple girl
Hopes I will understand what's next
Pretending to be shy but asks nevertheless
If I would like to meet him occasionally
Cause he'd like that very much too
Does my face imply I'm a public inventory?
Or that I need strangers inside me?
Who's gonna buy me flowers?
Who's gonna take me to see movies?
Who's gonna wipe my tears through bad times?
Who's gonna see me for the whole that I am?
I'm a woman of heart and wisdom!
I'm a woman of education and health!
I'm a woman of values and freedom!
I'm a woman of talents and aims!
I'm a woman, a respectful woman!
I deserve more than just that!
I wrongly posted the same comment more than once, as i could nt see anywhere if it was successfully submitted... sorry fr that! ! ! ! !
excellent! ! ! just brilliant.... I wont say I m glad, my thoughts r filled with awe, i m completely held captive by those words! ! ! It reflects a great deal, and the wane we people have in showing solidarity, respect to the great womanhood, the mother of all creation.....
Said with such a strong, independant voice... I'm impressed and a bit taken by your words... and you are right, you are more than just for bed... Everything you said... and more... is true I wuish that i could have known you...; -) -Kelly.
