We Are The Government Poem by Mason Maestro

We Are The Government

Her Majesty, she hisses and guides us with her song
Eradicate our congress as their progress moves along
Puritan work ethic maintains its economic edge
As Old Glory sustains the leftist - rightist pledge
There are bankers in the House and a puppet on the stool
And a struggling way of life and democracy misrule
And as the people bear, the moral fabric rots
The nations will soon learn the ruling elite's calling the shots
We are the government
We are the countermovement
It's your volition
It's your jurisdiction
And a good ol' boycott will make a difference too
