We Dance So Much Poem by Vera Sidhwa

We Dance So Much

We Dance So Much

We dance so much
And no work done.
We fun and frolic
All day long.

We like it this way.
I want it this way.
We crave fun and games.
I crave childhood.

This childhood in us
Needs to stay protected.
One more chance
Not to go undetected.

I long for those days
When I was a child
So I decided to stay there
For a while.
