We Live Poem by David Harris

We Live

Hearts run free when we are young,
but knit perfectly with love as time goes on.
When two in love
remain together constantly.

A life sometimes wants to wander
and let no one in
until love entices to capture
and tame the wandering spirit.

We live with our love as content
as we possibly can
letting no outside influence
make us stray too far away.

Love is such a jealous thing
putting temptation in front of you
and if you put one foot wrong,
it will punish you.
