We Pay The Cost Poem by rachel streek

We Pay The Cost

Rating: 4.8

her face is bare
from all the wear and tear
her eyes look lost
she had to pay an awful cost
to fall in love in the start
she had to accept a brocken heart
but who can go day by day so sad to have nothing to say
it is better to have and lost to have never loved at all
but is that true for us all
are they not just the same
she wanted an ending that never came
the sadnes that comes from a brocken heart is deplorable
and sadly for her unegnorable
when depressed one dose not live
she simply exists with nothing to give

Broken hearts and breaking hearts, a fitting turn, for a girl that does not learn, She said she's unlucky in love, And yet this beautiful dove, Threw away the one, Who for her would have anything done, But that's a story for another time, When that fool can say she's no longer mine.... Have you got any more poems? We show our love the way we know best....
