We Stand For Nothing At All Poem by Biljana Dodos

We Stand For Nothing At All

And it will be me, standing next to you on your last day
Remember your last Sunset, think about the way you lived
Touch your scars and I will hit
where they hurt the most

We were always one mind in two bodies
We never had mission to complete
We are here just to breathe in despair

Loneliness made us the way we are
Gently standing right above our names

Nobody could ever cure us
Nobody wasn't good enough to stay
Because, once, we thought we have it all
Long time ago, while we were on the wrong tracks of this

We thought we are special, in a search for nothing
We can't be whole, we never were complete beings

Ignorant of all our flaws, we walked with our heads high
Our path was always made from lies.
