Wealth Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Wealth

Rating: 5.0

The greatest riches are not brash
They are not acquired by vast cash
Often they are subtle and demure
Yet they display the greatest allure

The light in the eyes of a lover
Gazing at their significant other
Who responds shyly with a smile
Creating a sensation that beguiles

Tulip bulbs withstand winter’s freeze
A thaw promotes blooming with ease
Each year, glorious life springs forth
Beauty expands with enormous worth

A baby’s soft gentle cry let mother know…
Nourishment from her breast starts to flow
With love and devotion a bond forms…
A response that enriches and transforms

Wealth is an awareness of what really counts
It can not be measured by large bank accounts
Wonderful treasures appear and slowly unfold
Meaningful riches warm a heart more than gold
