Web Of Love Poem by Dan Lukman

Web Of Love

My heart is pounding so hard, is it because of you?

I don't know much about you, but something inside me wants you.
I've known you for a very short time, but something inside me needs you.

Is this love? is this what its like to fall in love?

Im trapped in a web, a different kind of web.

I see you hanging from above me, as if im a butterfly, caught inside your spiderweb.
You start moving closer to me. i try to move, but my body doesn't listen to me. Do I even want to move?

You are inches away from me, with the same web im trapped in hanging from your lips...
I can't move. or, I don't want to move?

As you kiss me, my vision goes black. I can't see. I can't hear. I can only feel your lips on mine, can only feel your web binding my heart to yours.

This web is impossible to escape. not because its too strong for me to tear, its because nothing can feel better then being trapped inside it.

I don't want to move, I want to be trapped, trapped in this web with you...
