Weeping Willow Poem by Uonder Kilkenny

Weeping Willow

I watched the weeping willow
As tears cover her soggy pillow

Why does she weep?
I dont know

the sun never lets her down
Air is always around
And rain quenches her thirst

Whilst the birds rehearse
A sweet, sweet verse

She enjoys it all
But just sees the curse

Of having to bear their wings
Whilst they in jubilee sing

Not understanding

That being forebearing

Will lead to bearing

In due season

And all things

All things

Happen for a reason
