A new day that marks a brand new year,
The beginning of an entire new atmosphere,
One full of hope and future chances,
To move forward in all our current advances,

Brand new doors just waiting to be unlocked,
New pathways just waiting to be walked,
A new chapter of life, each new day another page,
New experiences await all regardless of age,

Be it for the youngsters, the middle aged or the old,
Be it for those in thirst for love or gold,
The circle of life moves forward with time's flow,
To give our lives meaning and a magnificent glow,

So let this new year be an encouragement for you,
To set and achieve your goals with a heart so true,
Acknowledge your dreams and start the year with a smile,
And do your level best to make this new year worthwhile!
