Welcome Home

You've been gone so long
Welcome home
Am I wrong
To write this poem?

No matter what your reason
You are back now
Can I walk to your arms, or run?
I trust you so much, my love can't be undone

And I will always trust you
Even if you straight out betray me
Because I love you more than you can see
And I need you to need me

So, welcome home, Irie

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
