Welcome My Darling Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Welcome My Darling

I am leaving despair
Dressed in its sheik black gown
Flowers growing by rivers
Azaleas like pink stars
Peonies supple like a first crush
Innocence with azure hope

I know emptiness that crushes
This narrow gate has moonlight
You win the battle but lose your soul
No MORE!
She is young with eyes on Christ
Welcome my darling I need you
