What's you're dream?
Everybody's got a dream
And this is the place to set it free
Don't lose it.
Everybody wants to be a star
To score the big one
To find somebody to love
Sure is easy to run that one ragged.
The American dream never interested me
Because I grew up being told/shown
That life (as good as it got for me)
Was a nightmare, besides, there
Were more questions than answers.
Damn I got tired of standing in lines.
Must be time, one more time, to let it be
Take another ride on the merry-go-round
Come to some sort of understanding
For a hopeless / hopeful romantic like me.
Welcome to Hollywood, what's your dream?
Everybody's got a dream. Some come true,
Some don't. Keep on dreaming, just as
long as you’re living. Some come true.
